LT-D3.1

LT-D3.1 Describe examples of human impact on the  environment that have brought about beneficial changes and examples that have detrimental effects

 

1 Discuss and research the local area that pupils are familiar with and consider changes that have taken place over time.
2 Prepare a presentation featuring a local park / woodland / pond / school playground outlining a strategy for improvement and the benefits to the local community.
3 Use a variety of sources to research other environmental changes at national and international level.
4 Allow pupils to approach a Case Study as investigative scientists, roving the local area for evidence of pollution. Collect samples, create slides & shoot videos.
