EF-D1.6 Describe the effect of changing the number of components in a series circuit
Increasing the number of batteries without increasing the number of bulbs causes an increase in brightness of the bulb(s).
Increasing the number of bulbs without increasing the number of batteries causes a decrease in brightness of the bulb(s).

 

1 Make predictions of what will happen if the number of batteries or bulbs in a series circuit is altered.
2 Carry out an investigation to test the predictions and make an organised report, including circuit diagrams and findings.
