ES-D1.2	Give some examples of the approaches taken to space exploration Space exploration makes a valid contribution to our knowledge and understanding of the world and thus improves our quality of life e.g. space exploration has resulted in the invention of new materials, communication satellites, weather satellites.

1	Use a variety of sources to find out how evidence of our Solar System has been collected.
2	Make a chart outlining the history of space exploration and flight.
3	Identify some ways which are being used to explore space at present.
