Name the gases of the atmosphere and describe some of their uses
 The gases that make up air are nitrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide & other gases
At least one use of each of the following gases - nitrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide, neon

 

1 Use reference books to name the gases of the atmosphere. The gases that make up air are :-     - nitrogen   - oxygen   - carbon dioxide - other gases
2 Research one or two uses for each of these gases e.g. nitrogen for cooling, oxygen for burning and carbon dioxide for fire extinguishers.
