1	Make a frieze of everyday uses of heat. Use posters/photographs of cookers, fires, kettles etc.
2	Class discussion on sources of light in the classroom and home. Can pupils name things which give out light energy ? Make some drawings of these.
3	Can pupils give the names of things which release a lot of sound energy and things which give out little sound energy (loud sounds & quiet sounds)? Teacher/pupil groups could use flash cards to sort sounds into loud and quiet. Make a frieze of everyday uses of sound.
