LT-A1.1 Recognise similarities and differences between themselves and others
 All humans have common characteristics and others which are different, e.g. Common - hair, 2 eyes, ears, legs, arms etc.
Different - left or right handedness, hand span, hair colour, eye colour etc.

 

1 Draw pictures of selves and discuss how they are recognised by their friends.
2 With a partner, find ways that they are similar and different.
3 Sort pictures of people into groups according to their similarities.
4 Survey; eye colour, hair colour, height, handedness, hand span, head circumference. Produce a table and graph.
